LEGO Exhibit at History Room Extended Through Feb. 28

The Monroe County Local History Room & Museum is excited to announce that the “For the Love of LEGO” exhibit has been extended through February 28th.   A record number of visitors have already come to see the 50 highly-detailed LEGO sets made from the popular plastic building bricks which make up the exhibit.  The display includes a 27-square-foot build with a medieval castle theme has been provided by WisLUG (Wisconsin Lego Users Group) members.  Another original creation on display was built by LEGO Masters Jr. Season 1 finalists Will Tachick and Crosby Ehlenfeldt of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  Several other featured LEGO sets bring to life beloved fantasy and adventure movies rendered in a grand scale out of LEGO, many of which light up.  The History Room is also extending its weekly LEGO set giveaway drawing one lucky winner (ages 4-18) each week until the conclusion of the exhibit.  History Room hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 9-4. The Monroe County Local History Room & Museum is located at 200 W. Main St., Sparta, WI. Admission is free.
