Volunteer with us!
Are you looking to get more involved in your community? Do you have an interest in history or genealogy and have some free time you’d like to contribute towards a worthy cause? There is a place for you at the History Room! We are always accepting volunteer applications and have a variety of ways you can be involved. Some volunteer projects can even be done from home.
Past volunteer activities have included:
- Cataloging artifacts
- Providing research assistance
- Indexing historic documents (in person or at home)
- Researching and writing history articles
- Beautifying museum grounds
- Painting and building exhibits
- Assisting with History Room programming
- Preparing mailings
- Photographing special events
- Tending the Wegner Grotto County Park grounds
