Saturday, January 28th is your last chance to see “Festive Favorites: Lights and LEGO” at the Monroe County Local History Room & Museum. Come see eleven illuminated Christmas lights which once hung along Superior Ave. in Tomah back in the 1950s and 1960s glowing once again with Christmas spirit. Also on display is a colorful 36-square-foot Christmas Village made of LEGO bricks. Both displays will sure to bring joy to visitors of all ages.

The History Room will then be closed from Jan. 30 through Feb. 6 for exhibit take-down and seasonal maintenance. We will re-open to the public at 9am on Feb. 7th.

The Monroe County Local History Room is located at 200 W. Main St., Sparta, WI. Regular museum hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 9-4. Closed holidays. Admission is free. For more information call 608-269-8680 or visit Facebook.com/MCLHR.
