"For the Love of LEGO" Exhibit Opens November 24 at History Room

Monroe County Local History Room & Museum News

This year's holiday exhibit at the Monroe County Local History Room & Museum will be "For the Love of LEGO".  The exhibit will feature over 40 fun, impressive, and highly-detailed LEGO sets--some of which even light up.  There will also be two larger MOC (my own creation) LEGO layouts--one created by WisLUG (Wisconsin Lego Users Group) members and another by LEGO Masters Jr. Season 1 finalists Will & Crosby.  Our weekly LEGO Set Giveaway will also return this year for ages 4-18 for the duration of the exhibit.

The exhibit will open on the evening of November 24 with a special reception from 6:30-8:00 pm and be on view through January 31.  Open Tuesday-Saturday, 9-4.  We will also be open until 8 pm on November 28-29 and December 5-6, 12-13, and 19-20 in conjunction with Sparta Kriskindlmarkt.  The Monroe County Local History Room & Museum is located at 200 W. Main St., Sparta, WI.  Admission is free.  For more information, please visit our Facebook and Instagram pages.
