The Monroe County Local History Room & Museum and Sparta Kiwanis Club are sponsoring a City-Wide Scavenger Hunt, July 2-16.
Any student, K-12 (private, public or home school), residing within the boundaries of the Sparta Area School District and/or attending a school within those boundaries, is eligible to participate in the scavenger hunt. Only one entry form per student may be submitted for the prize drawing.
Scavenger Hunt forms can be picked up anytime from the Little Free Library stand in front of Mueller Square or at the Monroe County Local History Room (200 W Main St) between 9am and 4pm, Tuesdays – Saturdays, or by emailing SpartaKiwanis2020@gmail.com beginning July 2.
Completed forms are due by 11:59 PM July 16, 2022. Completed forms should be dropped into the Sparta Free Library book return slot located on the north end of the Library or the Monroe County Local History Room.
Grand Prize is a new Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) gaming system, second place is 4 tickets to a Brewers Game, third place is a gift certificate from Speed’s Bicycle Shop, and fourth place is a gift certificate to Gamers Sanctum. Participation awards will be given to all. All Scavenger Hunt sites are within easy walking or biking distance of downtown Sparta.
